Terms of Service
Plain terms for a simple product. Please read them before claiming a Mark.
Last updated 21 August 2026
1 · What My Million Mark is
My Million Mark is a public digital archive limited to one million entries. Each participant receives one unique number between #000001 and #1000000 and may publish one short sentence (maximum 150 characters) together with a name or nickname and a country.
It is a keepsake and a cultural archive. It is not an investment product, a security, a token, a collectible with guaranteed value, or a financial opportunity of any kind.
2 · Who operates it
My Million Mark is operated by an individual owner, not by a company, LLC or corporation. References to “we” in these terms mean the operator of My Million Mark. Contact goes through the public support address rather than any personal contact details.
Where the law of the governing jurisdiction requires a published trader address, it will be added here. Published trader address (if legally required) — to be configured
3 · Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, and able to enter a binding agreement. If you are paying with a card that is not yours, you must have the cardholder’s permission.
4 · One person, one number, one sentence
Numbers are assigned automatically and in order after a successful payment. You cannot choose your number. A number, once assigned, is never recycled, resold, transferred, or reassigned to anyone else — not after a refund, and not after moderation.
Your sentence, name and country are published publicly and are intended to be permanent. They cannot be edited after publication.
5 · Price and payment
Founding Marks (the first one hundred eligible numbers) cost $1.99 as a one-time payment. Standard Marks cost $2.99 as a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Depending on your jurisdiction and our tax configuration, sales tax or VAT may be calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
6 · Reserved and Prestige numbers
Certain numbers — the Founder Mark #000001, a defined set of Prestige and Ultra Prestige numbers, and the Final Mark #1000000 — are permanently excluded from standard checkout and can never be purchased through the normal claim flow. Standard allocation skips them automatically.
Reserved numbers are simply held outside standard allocation. We make no claim, promise or representation that they will ever be sold, that they will appreciate, or that they hold or will hold any monetary value.
7 · Your content and the rights you grant
You keep ownership of your sentence to the extent you have rights to it. You confirm that it is yours to submit and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
By submitting it, you grant the operator of My Million Mark a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, reproduce and distribute your sentence, name and country as part of your Mark — in the public archive, on your Mark page, in Share Cards, and in material promoting the My Million Mark collection. We claim no ownership of your words beyond what is needed to run and present the archive.
8 · Prohibited content and moderation
Content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, threatening, spam, impersonating, or that exposes another person’s private information is not allowed. The full list is in the Content Rules.
We may hide a Mark from public display if it breaks those rules or if we are legally required to. Hiding a Mark never releases its number: the number stays permanently retired and is never given to anyone else.
9 · Permanence and availability
The archive is designed and intended to last for the long term. Even so, no website can honestly guarantee uninterrupted availability forever. We do not guarantee that the service will be free of downtime, interruption, or error, and content may be hidden, restricted or removed where required by law or by these terms.
10 · Intellectual property
The My Million Mark name, design, layout, Share Card artwork and site software belong to the operator of My Million Mark. Participant sentences belong to their authors, licensed to us as described above.
11 · Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for what you submit. You agree not to attempt to interfere with the allocation system, to automate purchases, or to access administrative or non-public parts of the service.
12 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is”, and our total liability arising from your use of it is limited to the amount you actually paid for your Mark. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer law that applies to you.
13 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts located there have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
14 · Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top always shows the latest version. Questions go through the contact page or support@mymillionmark.com.
These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Independent legal review is recommended before public launch.
