A low-cost digital purchase

A Mark is a one-time, low-cost purchase ($1.99 or $2.99) of a permanent entry in a public digital archive. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. We handle every refund request individually and respect the consumer law that applies where you live.

Immediate digital delivery

Your number is allocated and your sentence is published within seconds of a successful payment. By completing checkout you ask for immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that, where a statutory withdrawal period would otherwise apply, it ends once delivery has begun.

When we do refund

We refund in full when something went wrong on our side, including:

  • you were charged but no Mark was published to you;
  • you were charged more than once for the same Mark;
  • a technical fault made your Mark inaccessible and we cannot fix it.

When we generally do not refund

Changing your mind about the sentence you wrote, the name you chose, or the number you were assigned. Numbers are allocated automatically in order and cannot be chosen, exchanged, or upgraded.

Marks hidden for breaking the Content Rules are not refunded.

The number never comes back

A refund reverses the payment. It does not release the number. A refunded number is permanently retired and is never reissued, resold, or given to another participant. This protects the integrity of the one-million sequence for everyone.

How to request one

Write to us at support@mymillionmark.com or through the contact page with your Mark number and payment date. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method by Stripe, usually within five to ten business days.

Statutory consumer rights that apply where you live are not affected by this policy.
